Flashing/formatting, as it may apply, is the clearing out of everything on a device. When a device is flashed, every detail on it before the operation will be lost and it will seem new.
Life after death is like flashing, everything you know on earth will be wiped out and you will look new. If you are made to remember, it will look strange. Nevertheless, there is no such thing as second life; the only life after death is the one you spend in 'heaven' or 'hell'. Before you die, correct all your wrong doings. Live a good life so when you are shown all the scenes of this life, you will be happy you spent it right and well. You don't have to wait to be told the right thing before you do it.
