Good day world. I got to church today to realise it's Palm Sunday. Most of us go to church today, talk about what happened- Jesus' entrance into Jerusalem but we don't know the significance of some of these things.
I won't be writing in detail. The triumphant entrance of Jesus into Jerusalem tells us about public announcement: Jesus' public announcement as the Messiah. The palm fronds and clothes laid on the floor signifies victory and honour respectively. The donkey doesn't signify humility as we take it to be, it however signifies peace.
Haven't we come to think of it- what happened, wasn't it the people of Jerusalem that were honouring him when he entered Jerusalem that called for his cruxifiction? That tells you and me something; humans are vulnerable- someone praising you now might be the one that will insult you when the need arises. So, please don't trust anybody because it breaks. Happy belated Palm Sunday, it's for 20-03-2016. Make peace so you can be named a victor and honoured.
