Some don't know that their prayers are answered. While some keep praying, some cease to pray. At times due to the thought that our prayers are not answered, we ask wrongly. This occurs when we are facing problems.
She gave all to her marriage but she has no child. Series of test proved that she and her husband have no medical problems. Since no child is coming, she stuck to praying, and seven months later, her in-laws came visiting. She was so amazed when she saw them, her hospitality level was high. After they had been entertained, she was called and she was made to realise that the woman they brought along is carrying her husband's child. She took it with a good heart and went into her room. She prayed bitterly and asked wrongly, she said, 'give me a child even if it is for some years, it is better'. That night, she and her husband had something together and she became pregnant and gave birth to twins.
The twins were no different to sicklers, though she and her husband were AA. Ten years later, one of them died and the other was on the verge of dying too. She went to church and started praying again, wrongly, 'oh Lord, why are you doing this, you gave a son and you want to take him, keep him and take my life'....
This is how we do sometimes, after praying wrongly, we blame it on God who initially said, 'ask and it shall be given'. You asked and He gave you. When we want to pray, just like we have it in the Holy books, pray for your enemies, don't repay evil with evil. Do you even know you can be yourself's enemy? Pray rightly, don't use your prayers to hurt yourself or anyone because God answers our prayers, it may not be immediately. Use your prayers to help yourself. Pray for yourself, your family and friends, your enemies, your country and the world.
