MILIDEMO

Gone are the days of military rule but fresh are it memories. Go out there and ask the old men and women of how serene that time was,with that,you would know how normal and cultured it was. Democracy should not be an exception of such,it is expected to be more better. I wouldn't say it is not or it is but my question is which do you prefer : military or democracy. Compare both,and decide if you would want the military to be in control again in your country.

CRACY DEMOnstration

I know some of us heard of what happened at the national assembly yesterday. Shutting out some of the legislators as well as the speaker,causing the shut out people to break in which later ended up in chaos.
All 'these drama' being displayed by the legislators is tarnishing Nigeria's reputation both at home and abroad. Don't you think these would have implications on our democracy. Do you think they are doing it for we the citizens or for themselves?

IMPENDING 'casala'

The ceasefire deal was announced to be counterfeit. Killings prevailing,showing no mercy and we are rejoicing keeping ourselves busy with thinking of who will rule in 2015. Boko haram growing everday,ow I know,we are waiting till they destroy the nation....no problems. With the way Boko haram is operating,do you think their operation is controlled by politics,religion and/or ethnic? What's your say?

THE OPPOSITE PART

She was disturbing her busy dad every now and then. In other to keep her busy,he tore into pieces a page on which a map was printed and gave it to her to put it back again.
To him,she was going to spend hours trying to put it together but in minutes she was back. Amazed,he asked,'so fast!' "ow dad,there is a simpler picture at the back making it easy to put together." Leaving her father suprised,she went to play and stopped disturbing him....
The one is made in twos : darkness and light,thin and fat,good and bad,etc. To every situation there is an other side. That challenge or puzzling situation you are facing,try looking for the other side and you will see the simpler picture of it. But at times,the causes of our challenges is the other side. Identifying the cause gives way to the solution.... Look at the other side now....

FORGE AHEAD

Zainab was a lady who could drive herself to anywhere. She might have driven herself overseas if it was possible. After a hectic day at work,she still had a journey to embark on; a journey to the company's head office,to collect a letter,which was a five-hour drive from her office. She left work before the normal time of closure,4p.m. She entered her car and off she went. For three hours,she changed the gear,used everything necessary at the right time. Due to the long drive,extremely loud music and switched on air conditioning,she forgot to change the most important thing,the gear. She kept driving not remembering the gear,overheating sets in and in no time,the car had stopped moving, an hour left to reach the head office. It was after this that she realised that she had not changed the gear for a long time causing the engine to over-work and over-heat,making it knock off. People who she left,met and left her. She was unable to reach her destination,a place where she was going to collect her letter of promotion,she couldn't leave the spot until late in the evening when a mechanic showed up. She lost everything. Hmmm,this story is about some of us who starts well and end badly. Why do we end badly? After obtaining our first degree and successfully get a job,we think that is the end and forget to change the gear like she did. We neglect the idea of improving our knowledge not knowing that there are new things that we have to know. And when we reach a stage,the company knock us off and people who met us would leave us there. This world is a changing world and we the people in it have to change too. That course you studied ten years ago needs to be upgraded by now,don't be a stagnant water. When there is need to go for seminars,workshops or the likes go,and learn so that your story won't end like that of Zainab. Do the right think at the right time. Make progress when there is need to ...

SUN DAY

Morning World. It's Sunday,the 9th day of November. Lord we thank you for all you have been doing in our lives,for protecting us,providing for us. For what we know and those we don't know that you are doing. Thank you Father. We have sinned and became unworthy of thy glory. PVC and/or PARTYING

Day two;it's another day of PVC distribution. I know we all have our different schedules for today,if we have not collected our PVC,i hope it is in our schedule for today. We should all go and collect it if we are yet to collect because it's for our use and to our benefit. And if we have collected ours,is either we have the schedule of doing the weekly cleaning or going to a party or both. If you will be doing both,I think you should have started the cleaning by now. And if you are just partying today,get well dressed and head to the venue. Don't forget my own package ooo. Please don't over-eat or drink. Have a blast.

HECTIC DAY

Day one of PVC distribution ends. I know some people went through some drastic situations today,standing under the scorching sun and the likes,but try understand you have to do it,it is for your good. I hope you were able to collect yours,if you were not able to,tomorrow is another day. But today is gone,go take your shower and get ready to sleep.

LEADERSHIP not YOU

No matter how alike we are,one of us must and will surely be the best. There can't be two kings in a kingdom. A citation is what happens amongst all the animals in their different kingdoms. Though lions and tigers are from the same family,their positions in the terrestial kingdom is different. Take a look at the aquatic kingdom too,the sharks and whales are like the same but when it comes to how they are feared by other pisces,a difference exist. So is the arboreals' kingdom too,you can't expect a hen to respect the view of a vulture than that of the eagle;NO,it's impossible. This is what happens in the human race.Being a leader isn't included in everyones' destiny because if it was,there won't be equilibrium. So,why disturb yourself when you know you can't be a leader,it will even be better if you waste your energy and time in being a good follower. This tells us,since all of us can't be a leader then we can't be the best when another person is. In live,just like the way some positions are made for some species of animals,so is human. Have a look at the bee caste,different postions are occupied by different groups. In this race too;different posts,different groups. You may have all the riches but not all posts are meant for you. Accept who you are,when you know you are not meant for the post stop 'helter-skeltering'. Without being a leader,you can do things meant for the leaders to do. Be the best you can be don't try being where someone is. Always thank God for the post you meet yourself. He knows the best. For a better Nigeria,we all have to stand as ONE

PVC's HOLIDAY

It seems it's going to be sunny today. No work in some states today,it's a holiday. Never forget what today's holiday is meant for,if you don't have anything to do just go to the polling station as early as possible to acquire your permanent voters' card(PVC). You won't have any right to choose and criticize any elected person if you don't go and collect yours because if you don't,you won't be able to vote in the coming election. Don't forget you don't have to rush too much this morning,it's a holiday. Go collect your PVC because it's the key to voting your candidate in. See you at the polling station....

BRIGHT MORNING

Yello. It's the sixth day of November. Today might be a day of violence at some places.O Lord protect us from any sort of thing that might harm us be it physical or spiritual,don't let us be victims of accident,violence,death and other bad things. Make us victims of promotion,upliftment and all other good things. Anything that needs your intervention Lord pls intervene,provide for our needs and never forsake us. IJN. FRYING PAN TO FIRE

Thanks to God. If not for this,how will today have been. Glory be to you Lord.Hmhn... After my education,I resorted to teaching though I never wanted to. And after some years at the teaching job,I resigned and shifted to being a taxi driver. I have not used a week at the garage when I realised that I have left the frying pan to the fire but what would I do I had resigned already,no going back. Hardship and its kinds started settling as my room-mates,to feed myself and my family seemed to be an impossible thing.But I didn't lose myself,I knew I wasn't meant to be there,thus,I joined a co-operative with the thought of investing with my savings. The outcome was heartbreaking,it dragged me down to the depth where no hope of rising was guaranteed,yet I didn't lose hope. Not quite long,a business was brought into town. I tried all my possible best to invest in it and I never regreted doing so because with constant follow-up I started standing up and in no time I had risen again. And now when I look at my past I see a reason why I should always praise God. My advice to you reading this is: never lose hope as long as you are still living,patience is never too much so don't hestitate being patient in everything,always look before you leap because you may fall and won't be able to rise again,also never seek help from small gods when the Lord still exist so seek Him in times of troubles and during the good times too because the small gods have no good thing to offer,marry your God,take him as your only God. Learn from my story because if I had lost hope,become impatient,leaped before I looked and seeked the small gods,I might not have achieved what I have achieved so far. Learn....

PRANKS of THE DECADE

I would call this heart-rending pranks of the decade. What are we going to call unfulfilled promises? I call it pranks,what will u call it? Since a decade now,our leaders have been making blank promises;uninterrupted electricity,free education and all other millennium goals that I wouldn't want to mention because I know you them. But to my great suprise,they pranked us. We don't have to worry,we just have to bear it in mind that one day,Nigeria will be better,maybe we are yet to get it right. 54 years has passed and we are still being pranked. AhAhAh!!! Nigeria.My question is Will democracy ever make Nigeria better? What's your take? If Yes when and how,if No why and how.
